Christmas came early at our house. We bought a new scroll saw for Howard, my DH, and since he has time off before Christmas, it seemed silly for him to have to wait to use his new toy. He mastered it quickly and has created some stunning pieces.
We went out to the sawmill and picked up several pieces of beautiful Texas mesquite. Nave's sawmill belongs to Wendy, an awesome woodworker artist. I enjoyed touring her wonderful shop. She had hundreds of projects in process. I am certain that we will be a regular at her shop.
I enjoy decorative painting, collage, mixed media, and assemblage art. I am a self-taught artist and one of my favorite things to do is to use vintage items in my art and give them new life.
